It's also connected to her way of looking at the world and dreaming about her past and future. She's both at the same time- a Dream and a Dreamer.}

Personality:
Dreamer is overall a very sweet but shy mare.
She seems to see the world from a different perspective than anyone else.
Dreamer would love to communicate with the world more, but she simply can't because she's mute.
The loudest noise she makes is occasional snorting, but she somehow always manages to find other ways to get her point across.
He shyness is mainly because she doesn't know much of the world yet, Jay had to postpone her leave from the Nordanner Stables for two hole weeks to get her used to the car and transporter.
She's still rather suspicious of  cars  though, because she doesn't understand how something can move so fast around when it stinks of nothing but death.

Most of the time Dreamer is a really happy mare that enjoys life and tries to make the best out of it, always looking at the bright side of everything.
Dreamer has a great memory. Things she hears or sees once will never be forgotten and she's quickly adapting herself  to the "modern world".


Dreamer is most comfortable around Stallions, because she grew up with no one but the other  CandyCanes around.
She'll act skittish and nervous when there are strangers or just too many horses around her.
She'd love to make friends with other mares, but is too shy to approach them and doesn't know how to act around them.
Though she's bad with too large crowds, being completely alone is one of her worst fears, so keeping her away from the other horses isn't an option.
Most of the others horses aren't used to flashy colors like hers, so they're keeping their distance, something she doesn't understand.

Dreamer is a very good natured mare, but there are two horses she really hates- the Ikkarian Hill Horse Deity and the Parisian Cabaret Horse _____.
These two Mares are constantly teasing her, pulling her mane and tail and other mean jokes on her whenever no ones is around to help her.


She's also very shy around humans and the only one she fully trusts is Jay.
Though she chose Jay herself, Dreamer often misses her two companions that took different paths, so whenever it's possible Jay is taking her along to at least visit the group's stallion sometimes.

Though at first a bit vary of them, Dreamer grew to LOVE dogs and the kennel dogs seem to like her just as much.
The dogs are very protective about her and won't let anything or anyone suspicious come close to her.
When they're around Dreamer has a lot more confidence and will even let humans that the dogs have accepted, approach her.
She's even starting to behave like one of the dogs, following Jay around like a puppy and even trying to fit trough small doors so she won't get left behind.

Dreamer is scared of loud explosions, so the time around new year is horrible  for her.
It's so bad that she needs mild sedatives to calm down, otherwise she would stand in her box shivering all night.

Dreamer has beautiful silky hair, but it'll easily get shaggy so she got a war cut most of the time.
However, she won't let anyone get close to her forelock with scissors, so it's bound together as a braid most of the time.
Since her coat is thick and keeps her warm she doesn't mind spending the night outside no matter the weather.
She loves the dark and when most other horses have already gone to sleep, she's still rooming the pastures.


Dreamer is a very intelligent mare and learns fast, but always needs to be reassured that she's doing it right.
Wit Jay on her back she's like a different horse.
You could make a bomb explode next to her and she would barely flinch as long as her rider stays cal mas well.
Though people still make her a bit nervous, she'll ignore them and follow every little command Jay gives her- this shows just how much she trusts her owner.
She has very smooth and beautiful gaits and Jay has started training with her for dressage, though she's still far away from being able to enter shows.
She's a steady mount and an excellent choice for crossing uneven terrain.

Another thing Dreamer likes a lot are red things, especially the shiny kind.
You'll often find random red objects in her stables that she picked up somewhere.
Her favorite foot are Apples, especially the really red and sweet ones.

Dreamer  feels the most comfortable when she has body contact to something, so she'll often lean against random objects, which usually can't hold up against her weight.
When she's sleeping she'll often rest with her back against the walls of her stable and when Jay's around, she'll constantly try to cuddle with her.
She's a lot smarter than the average horses and often daydreams about the most wonderful things.


History:
<sub>"The snow fell thick that night. Thicker than usual. The horses who hadn't yet gone inside to the warm stables shook off white blankets over and over as they nosed through the rapidly rising fluffy white pillows. It was kicked up even higher when the hot-blooded dragon hunters took to playing games with each other, though how they could see where their playmates were no one knew. It wasn't until one of them came racing near enough to the house and triggered the magic that they realized there was something more out there. As golden light flooded the area, three Nordanners pranced and played through it, marked each with the colors of candy canes. Not so crazy as the Jokers, with their flashy, crazy and beautiful markings, but different than the other mutation horses. And everyone watching knew they were seeing something special.

When the crowd gathered, the gray pranced and danced as if he had wings on his feet. But the black mare walked straight up to someone in the group, dropped her muzzle into their hands, and heaved a contented sigh. Perfectly happy with the human she had chosen for herself, she stayed put as the gray continued cavorting about. The black stallion settled in quickly with the group horses, who had come to see the new arrivals. So it was decided that the mare would stay with the owner she had clearly chosen for herself and the gray would go to auction to find his new home. by Cloudrunner64


In the following years, Jay would be forever glad about her decision to spend the night at the Nordanner stables instead of returning home right away, because otherwise she would've never witnessed the events of this night.

This would be the last day for a long time Van could spend together with his closest (and only) friend and Jay wanted to give them at least a bit more time together.
She was standing at the fence of their Pasture, patting Van and Lemon's noses one last time.
Van was making a fuss about letting her touch him before he reluctantly lowered his head and the yellow Panda showed his face into hers, almost causing Jay to fall down in the snow.
She was about to return to the main house, when she noticed that most of the staff and other guests of the stable were gathering on a pasture a bit further away.
"Has one of the Mares given birth to some crazy mutation foal or something? she muttered to herself.
But of course she was still interested enough to join the crowd.
When Jay finally managed to shove enough people out of the way to see the cause of the commotion, she forgot to breathe for a moment.
She had seen many mutation starters before and just as many jokers, but these 3 were different. Like a mixture of both thrown together, were flashy markings showing on their feet and other body parts, on top of natural colors.
Her gaze was drawn towards the black mare in the middle. Her candy cane markings reminded Jay of the last Christmas she had celebrated together with her mother. She had been- maybe seven? or six? back then and was so eager to help decorating the Christmas tree that she managed to shatter all the Christmas decoration in the box she was carrying. So instead, her mother had put candy canes on all colors on the Christmas tree. They had glittered deliciously in the lights on the tree, just like the black mare in front of Jay glittered in the moonlight.
The Mare turned her head around, her eyes scanning the crowd around them, stopping for a few seconds to take a closer look at some of the people before continuing.
The logical part of Jay's brain told her to tell the people that they should try and catch the horse before they disturbed the herd, but the majority of her brain told her to stand still and stupidly stare at the flashy markings of the mare, which seemed- since her black coat melted into the dark- like some crazy dancing socks without an owner.
Then the eyes of the mares locked with hers and for a moment they just stared at each other.
This would later be one of the moments Jay would remember to keep going whenever she was about to give up on something, on a horse, the whole stable she owned or other crazy things in her life.
The mares deep blue eyes looked just as intelligent and deep as a humans and Jay understood that the black Nordanner was looking for something, trying to find it within this circle of people.

She grew up in the wilderness together with the two Candy Cane Stallions.
On Christmas Evening they showed up together at the official Nordanner stables and Dreamer chose Jay as her "special person".
No one really knows what they did before that, or why they decided to show themselves on exactly that day.
She's much like a wild horse, unfamiliar with most kinds of technology and normal riding gear, but she's slowly being taught everything by Jay.
She's currently staying at a small pasture a bit further away from the main herd to get her used to the stables.
When Jay is around however, she's usually following her around like a puppy, so she's rarely on the pasture.


Disciplines: is being taught basic commands, later Dressage and Halter Events, maybe also Trick shows.

Potions: Ram- _{giving her a pair of gorgeous white Antlers. She already had them when Jay first met her. They're showing most of the time and only need to be hidden when she travels in a transporter to prevent her from damaging them in the cramped and shaking space.}

Tack: green halter with mistletoe pictures on it, white and red striped leadrope, red blanket with green borders and white dots, no saddle or bridle yet.
